Autumn Vibes-I love two seasons-spring and autumn. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada where we definitely experience all four seasons. What do I love about fall-the beautiful changing colours of the leaves. I look forward to less responsibility with yard work-truth be told, I have a countdown on my phone to the first day of fall-that means that day I quit worrying about anything yard related. I have a love/hate relationship with later sunrises and earlier sunsets. Days I don't have to get up and go to work in the dark-love those late sunrises. Days I don't work I love the early sunsets. Cooking, baking, crafting, puttering around the house seem easier when it is dark outside. Anyone else feel the same? What is your favourite season and why?
So as autumn comes, I think of warmer clothes-and plaid is definitely part of that mix. I think of evergreen trees-I had no idea just how many pinecones fall daily from those trees-until it became my responsibility to pick them up. So hopefully I have now set the stage for my card-it's clearly a Christmas card but it has fall vibes don't you think?
