Two days left in Sale-A-Bration! Don't miss out. Do you have your ducks all in a row? My favourite Sale-A-Bration choice was the Best Day Ever stamp set-I have made at least 50 cards that used it. Second on my list is the Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper followed by the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack. So don't miss out-for every $60 you spend on product, select a FREE Sale-A-Bration item.
I love the little bunny in the Baby We've Grown stamp set-and it is the perfect image to colour, blend and shade with Blendabilities! And check out the pearl on the bow tie-coloured with.....yep, Blendabilities!
I love this fun fold! I received a card that featured this fold from Mo Dickie-thanks Mo!
Front of card
Open one layer
And open one more-Blendabilities worked so well to color the stamped greeting. And check out the gift card holder-made with the Envelope Punch Board-this card does it all.
Smaller images are perfect when you are first learning to shade-I can't emphasize this enough
I worked from dark to light-see the little nose on the bunny
You can color pearls-just a light touch with the brush end of the marker-you can keep adding color if you want-and it does not come off!
Not a Blendies tip-but don't forget to stamp on your Designer Series Paper, too!
Come to one of my Blendabilities classes-there is one spot left in my August 25 class-and included in the fee-memento inkpad and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. And you will also have a start on your Christmas cards!
Isn't the Lullaby Designer Series Paper gorgeous?
Stamps: Baby We’ve Grown

I have not posted since May 5-yikes! Maybe I needed some air.....I post most days to Facebook-so if you are missing me here-pop over to Facebook and see what I am doing....okay?
I saw a cute idea by Keren Dukes of Free Pretty Things over on Pinterest with a balloon and the caption I need some air-and I knew instantly it would make a great Father's Day card.
I decided to carve my own greeting using the Stampin' Up! Undefined stamp carving kit-it was so easy-I wanted the greeting to look out of breath-I think I got that look! I need a running shoe for a card-so I will be carving that next-yikes, I might be hooked on carving.
The balloon is tucked in the pocket-before you tuck it in, you blow the balloon up a bit, write your message on it, and deflate the balloon. So the recipient will then need to blow up the balloon to read the message. I would suggest you make sure the ink does not come off-I tried a few kinds of pens and markers and then tried our new alcohol based markers and that stayed on!
I struggled a bit with this card-there was too much plain space and I finally settled on the buttons-guys have buttons on their clothes, so buttons work on guy cards!
